Catherine, grow up.
Contact me and I will take you for a drink (London, not LA). Life is not about writing about sex. Or attending posh sex parties. It’s about being able to look back on a day and appreciate what was achieved. Break out of this sleazy routine you have fallen into. You are better than this.

I just finished the second book and I loved it. I feel empowered by how Catherine finally got over JP and it helped me get over my own ex. I admire the fact that Catherine is open about her sexual experiences, as I have always been, and its not a bad thing!
Thankyou
You so real!! I like you sense of life genuine and look at world without veil

It baffles me when I read your articles/writings about sex. Sex is not real and women are impossible to get, nomatter what you do. This is the reality. I am going to be 30 and have never experienced this myth people call ‘sex’. But it absolutely angers and frustrates me when I see couples on the train, it makes me want to smack them. When I try and approach a women and suggest sex they get uncomfortable. Women don’t want sex because it makes them uncomfortable. It’s also not possible to get close to one because they always say they’re busy, or tired, or already have plans, and if you write to them online through facebook for example, they either don’t respond at all or not even accept your friend request. Sex is a myth, it’s not real, I have never even seen a naked woman in real life, only what you see on TV. Sex is just that – something you see on TV, it’s NOT real.

Catherine,
I read your book over a year ago. The book was presented to me through a friend of the family that was visiting the states for a week or so. I found it extremely intrigueing and I like your take on making most of every opportunity that comes accross your table. As a young man in West LA it has definitely broadened my horizon’s and I have been given the lack of expectation and turn sex into something raw and sensual. Thank you.
P.S. I think your path in life and the way that you carry yourself through your writing is a true gift.
Sincerely,
Jon
Thank you ALL for your replies…I have been working hard on my third book and I SO appreciate the support – it gets me through the very long marathon days of writing alone…and reminds me that all of the experiences (good, bad, ugly and everything in between!) were worth it, and we’re not alone!
Thanks so much and Jon, as a fellow LA resident I agree with you that in the US we take sex way too seriously – I miss London, rain and all!
